Mona Lisa quartz in Baildon, with a vein matched mitred end panel.

We’ve just fitted worktops in a kitchen here in Baildon, and the detail we want to show you is the end panel.

The stone is Mona Lisa quartz, chosen for its veining. The end panel runs down the side of the units to the floor with a mitre.

The panel is cut from the part of the slab that sits directly next to the worktop piece, so the veins reach the edge and carry on down the side in the same line. It looks as though the stone was never cut.
